does not assume liability for damages that occur during the shipping process of the
parts we sell. Your parts are packaged so that damage will not occur, but
sometimes parts do become damaged during shipping.
Customer Responsibility-When your parts
arrive always check them in the presence of the delivery driver. If the item is
damaged, note it on the freight bill before the driver leaves. This will document
the damage for any claim that you file with the carrier. If your freight is damaged,
notify the carrier to insure replacement of the damaged goods. After contacting the
carrier, notify 73-87ChevyTrucks.com for instructions on returning the damaged
item/s. If the freight is damaged so severely that it is unusable, you must refuse
the delivery and notify us immediately. 73-87ChevyTrucks.com is not
responsible for damage to parts if no notification is given within two weeks of
receipt.
Returns-Returns are gladly accepted.
After all, we want you to be satisfied. All items have a 30 day return policy.
If you are returning an item for reasons other than it being damaged, we will reimburse
you the cost of the item minus a 20% restocking fee. You will be reimbursed when we
receive the item undamaged and in resalable condition. The customer is also responsible
for the cost of shipping the item back to us. If we receive the item and it is
damaged or deemed non-resalable, the item will be refused and the shipping company will
return the item to you. Items MUST be returned in the original shipping boxes for returns. You will then have to file a claim with the shipping company
for damages. Please do not return items before
contacting us for return authorization.
Truck Freight-Items that are too big to ship
via UPS or FedEx will be shipped truck freight collect. This means that at the time
of your order you only pay the cost of the part. You will pay the shipping cost upon
arrival. Please make sure you inspect the parts before signing for them. If
you have questions, please contact us.
UPS/FedEx-Items that are shipped UPS/FedEx
require shipping costs to be paid at the time the order is placed.
Used Parts-Occasionally we will get used
parts to sell. Used parts are sold as is with no warranty and no returns. We
will do our best to describe the part as accurately as possible. If you have
questions please ask before buying.
